Portland has just about everything a diver could wish for with countless wrecks to visit. I am not a diver so please forgive my lack of knowledge on the subject.

One of the most famous is HMS Hood, the battle cruiser which was scuttled across the southern entrance to the harbour in 1914. Click here for information on the Hood and a dive guide.
